Universal Orlando Parks/Vacation Tips

Since I did a post Disney tips, I decided to do a Universal addition. I’ll try not to repeat things I mentioned on my last post.

  1. Definitely get your universal tickets online they are cheaper that way.
  2. If you say at a Universal hotel you are able to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter an hour earlier.
  3. If you are going during the busy months purchasing a Universal Express Pass might be worth consideration. If you are going during the slower time (ex. early November) you shouldn’t need the passes. In my experience most lines are at a bearable wait time.
  4. If you are alone, or your party is okay with splitting up, most rides at Universal theme parks have a single rider line. These lines typically go much faster and allow single riders to be placed with odd numbered parties on rides.
  5. If you have paid to park at Universal, your parking pass lasts all day. You can leave and return as long as you have your pass. Universal City Walk has restaurants, shops, clubs, a movie theater, and even mini golf. So you can use your parking pass to return later in the evening and take advantage of the things on City Walk.
  6. Universal also has Halloween Horror Nights in the fall. This is a separate ticketed event that is after closing time at Universal Studios. Many people go every year to experience the event.
  7. If there is something you find that you absolutely want to buy but you don’t know how you can get it home or if you don’t have the money at the time you can order it online off of the Universal website (same goes for Disney) and have it shipped to your house.
  8. Universal also has their own app that I suggest downloading. You can shop, find maps, and see wait times within the park. They also have a place where you can keep track of where you parked, which can come in handy in such a big place.
I will also probably add to this list as times goes on but for now I hope they both help.
